Waterproofing dyed shoes
Hi all!
I am in my friends wedding on Friday and unfortunately it's supposed to rain (April showers... ugh). Our shoes are dyed blue and are not waterproofed. I called the store today where we had them done and they said they don't waterproof shoes and that even something like Scotch guard isn't good because it changes the color of the shoes.
Has anyone had any dealings with this problem, and if so, what did you do? I will feel really silly wearing different shoes into/out of the Church and reception hall just so that I don't end up with blue feet from the dye running! :)
