Wax seals
Has anyone used the wax seal/stamp for their invitations? It has always been something I love the look of bu I'm curious if it's a pain in the *** to do it. I mean, it's a totally different thing to do it 100 times, you know?

Ok so I am a bit of a wax seal fanatic. I use them for everything. Letters, invites to any kind of party, thank you's, you name it. I have found that the new candle lighter at cvs is the best thing for the wax.
we did them, once u got the hang of it, it was fine. it was actually a lot of fun..
i did 2 of them and gave up. not a good idea if you are doing them in bulk. it took about 5 min for each seal to have it melted so there was enough wax. instead, i bought faux wax glue sticks (you can pick any color), stuck them in a glue gun, and used the same stamper that i was using with the wax. it gives you the same exact look but is way easier. just make sure you rub the stamper on ice every few seals so it doesn't stick. and i found that premaking all the seals first was very efficient. then i just used a glue dot to stick them to the envelopes.
definetly use a glue gun with wax sticks...you control how much wax u want & you dont burn urself. Tip: spray some pam on the stamp every few seals to keep the wax from sticking!
I was gonna use them but i got so fustrated i couldnt do it right!
