We are closing on our House(pics added).....

this week. We are so excited, but FH is driving me crazy. He is starting to sound like his mother...complaining about how we are going to have no money...BLAH, BLAH, BLAH. What can you do, it's a great investment and we both know it. The house needs some work, but FH plans on doing most of it himself along with some help from family members. Everyone is pretty handy. He'll move in right away and then I won't officially move in until after the wedding....tradition. The house is in Centereach and we can't wait. We are both getting antsy(whatever spelling), we want to get working on the house and make it like how we want it.

congrats!! we bought our house in september and all i can say is money pit. but it's also such a great feeling to be a HOMEOWNER!!!

We're in the exact same boat! We closed in September and FH is living their w/ my 2 cats. Him & his dad are doing all the work and it's looking beautiful. You do what you can and soon enough things will fall into place. I can't wait until June to move in!!! Congrats and good luck!!

That is so exciting.. Congratulation.. I know that feeling.. it is a scary but exciting feeling.. Ever house needs lots of work.. Don't stress it.. enjoy turing your house in to a home!!!

Well, we found out last night that we will be closing Friday morning at 10:00. WooHoo, we are really buying a house!!! It still doesn't feel real, but it sure will when our bank accounts are empty!! haha

I don't have any bigger pics right now, hopefully soon. I'll see what I can do.

congrats to both of you...its so exciting to know that you will actually own your home...FH and i bought our place about a year and a half ago and of course you get nervous about money and stuff but it was the absolute best thing we have ever done....

It is not easy but worth it, my parents just moved to Atlanta and left the house for me and my FH it is a lot of work good luck

Well, after work we are doing a walk through of the house wit hthe realtor and the owner. We actually have not even met him yet, so this will be great. Now FH can go crazy asking questions.
Let's see in 18 hours Fh & I will sign away our lives and be homeowners!!!! YIPPEE!!

What a strange feeling, first thing on my list of things to do at the house tomorrow is.....clean the bathroom...doesn't that sound like fun. Does anyone else want the job? No, I didn't think so, but I'm happy to do it, I mean it is MY bathroom.
