Tonight we booked with In adn Out Travel:

1 night in Papete (Intercontinetal - lagoon view)
5 nights in Morea (Newey - garden view with pool)
4 nights in Bora Bora (over water bungalow)

We are so excited!!!!

Yeah, it just rains a little more during that time, but that time is the Tahitian Summer. A Past Bride posted pics on the HM thread of when she went in Nov and they were beautiful!!

Yup, the dry season (high) is June - Oct and the low season is Nov - May... so it will be a little more humid and maybe more rainy during the low season but the water and air is just as warm as other months!

So, basically I wouldn't worry about the weather. From what i've read it's just a few quick showers then the sun is out again.

Yes, we made sure our resorts were air conditioned (pearl resorts)!!

I just found this on the Bora Bora pearl resort website:
All 80 bungalows are equipped with air conditioning and offer satellite television including american news channel CNN, series, movies, documentary and sport channel.

And this on the Moorea Pearl site:
All feature ceiling fan and air conditioning, sundeck, coffee/tea making facilities, mini bar, hair dryer, safety box, television and IDD telephone.

I would do a little more research, just so you can cover all your basis and you dont miss the opportunity to go on your dream HM. On the Tahiti HM thread a luckybride2004 posted pics and she went in Nov. which is the same rainy season. I would FM her and review the pics.

There's not much night life....but we are on our HM! Thhis was a concern for me as well, but were not much partiers.

Anyway, the resorts hold dances and the main island Papete also has some bars.....I am just going there to relax, enjoy the beauty, the adventure (4x4 rides, quads, hiking, shopping), etc.

Don't let TA fool you, there is much to do in Tahiti; however, it could get expensive.
