WE BOOKED THE INN!!!!!

We finally mailed our check today and booked the inn in Connecticut!!!

I can't believe how nervous I was to sign that check and seal up the envelope - we've had this planned for 2 months now, but still, it was like, 'this is really it!'

We're officially doing a 'wedding weekend' at the inn, which has 38 rooms, and we blocked all of the rooms for our guests.

- Friday night will be the rehearsal dinner barbecue in the backyard, with a bonfire and drinks and s'mores after that.

- Saturday, the wedding will be out on the front lawn, cocktail hour in the backyard/woods under a tent, and reception in the dining room (big enough for 80 people + a dance floor). Afterparty in the pub in the inn (which will be closed off to the general public and open for us as late as 4 in the morning).

-Sunday brunch the next morning.
