I think it is a WONDERFUL IDEA!!!! BBQ are GREAT!!! I rather have a BBQ then a sit down dinner!!! HOW FUN!!!!!

Im getting married the day before!! I would have loved to do the same thing but the GM are planning that weekend at the bachelor party so FH won't be home (they won't tell me what they're doing all I know is it involves a passport)
I thinks its a great idea!!!!

my co-worker's son did this.
they had the rehearsal dinner and shower the same day. it was a large family bbq. aside from the heat and humidity (mid-august) they had a wonderful time.
