We fired...

...A groomsman.

I posted about this a while ago. A really good friend of FH and I for the past 3 years. Lately, he has become a flake and started hanging out with other people. So since April, we have seen him 3 times and he was 2 hours late to our E Party! FH has talked to him several times and each time, we gave him more chances and he kept blowing us off.

Today FH sent him a text stating that we are getting married in 6 months and since then we have only seen him 3 times and didn't need any awkward feelings on the day of the wedding and that he was being kicked out. FH also said that he was sending him an invite and Mike then said 'don't bother.' WHAT A D*CK!

I am glad because now we are even with the bridal party. Of course I sent Mike a nasty email. I always have to have the last word.

Oh man! I am sorry, I am sure you guys don't need the added stress.. but now at least you wont have it on your wedding day. I am sure you did the right thing!!! and what a pr*ck for saying 'dont bother' to the invitation..

Right now I wish I could fire my entire bridal party except the MOH.

Fhs best friend was to be the best man but ever since our relationship got serious and he got engaged he picked a fight with me and he has purposely avoided me .. mind you he lives in the apt downstairs of my Fh and its a two family house, so he tries really hard to avoid me ... I think he is jealous of our relationship, he never congratulated us or gave us a gift, nothing. He reluctantly accepted being best man but hasnt done a thing that FH asked him to regarding the wedding and I know he doesnt want to hang out with me but he hasnt seen Fh in like 3 months!!! and they live in the same house!! its a really sad situation, we may have to kick him out as well

I basically told him that he lost 2 friends that cared about him and that karma is a b*tch.

Seems like a lot of people are having issues with this. We thought it was going to improve but it never did. So, I guess good riddance.

Thats what I say... but FH is still hurt about this and he wont accept it yet. it will take him more time than me ... I am less forgiving! lol ... oh well, what goes around comes around I say

I remembered when you originally posted that you were having problems with him. I'm sorry to hear things didn't improve! You are right... you don't need someone in your wedding party who doesn't put any effort into your friendship.

Yea, I don't get why everyone has this drama. It stinks but I am glad its over with. Now he's trying to make us feel bad by sending us messages.

i guess i am not the only one some what going thru this, hehe! it is true, i think when people get engaged for some reason you always have that one person either in your friend group or family jealous and envy's you and gets all nasty and mean and turns their back on you! it's pathetic because this is a time when EVERYONE should be happy or the engaged couple and instead they are only sending and giving bad vibes to the couple. i hate it.. i am actually going thru the same thing with FH sister in law =[ ugh i cant stand her and she is the biggest A$$$$$$ and i have no choice but to have her in my wedding as one of the BM! that is what is killing me the most, is to have someone i cant stand and is doing nothing but giving me bad vibes and always has something nasty to say and always has to put her two sence in everything and her stupid oppinions in everything just to put me down! its actually funny in a way cause everyone tells me she is just JEALOUS and it is funny, but it just agravates the hell out of me and i dont know if i will be able to deal with this.. but i already said, i will IGNORE her because i will be way too busy to even pay attention to her before or even on the day of the wedding!!!!!!!!!!

i tried to do everything to not have her in the bridal party but of course FH's mother told me i couldnt do that and to not have problems i had to put her because FH brother (her husband) is a GM!

and yeah that isnt even much of the problems.. we also have FH other brother who is the BEST MAN and hes been pretty flacky cause hes another jealous one!! he was happy for our engagement and all, but now he just seems to be jealous and seems to be acting FAKE!! ughh!!

I dont understand why he got kicked out. Did you have rehearsals yet and he didnt show up?

I totally agree! My former best friend got real crazy on me and said why did i think she would care about my wedding and that im telling people what to do.. i didnt even start the planning stage that let people know what they should be doing so i knew she was buggin out....i was taken back by that but then i had to realize some people really arent your friend like you think they are and should be let go. Needless to say we are no longer friends lol. It happens and you get over it and move on with your life.
