We got an 'interesting' add-on on one of our invites

I've seen people talk about guests adding uninvited childred and friends onto the reply card. I think I've got a new one. . .

FH's uncle is VERY rich. His wife is in a wheel chair. (I don't know why and FH has never met them and doesn't know either.) They are flying out from CA (and they also paying for all their children w/ their families to come as a family vacation). They responded for themselves in the appropriate place, and then at the bottom wrote in 'caregiver.' I guess this is the wife's personal nurse? A nanny for the little children? FH is going to have his mother look in to it.

BTW: This is FFIL's oldest bother. All the siblings went on a cruise in the winter and FMIL made him promise to come to ours.

Well I can understand if she is in a wheelchair...We had to bring a caretaker with us everywhere when my grandma was still living...My grandma had parkinsons & dementia...She was unable to do anything for herself, so anything she was at, the personal nurse was along....

Trust me it makes things easier especially if she is the one that takes most care of her now!

We're being very open about who can come to the wedding (by NY standards) so having the add-on itself isn't really an issue.

My mother and I were just perplexed. We don't know what state FH's aunt is in and weren't expecting something like that to come through on the responses. Our first thought is that she is supposed to sit with them. But we're not really certain.

Anyway- FMIL will find out for us.

I think that would be the only add on that i would be OK with.

I would be really flattered that they are willing to do so much to be there for your day!!! thats really nice!
