We got our first RSVP back today!

Oh my! FH's mom sent out all the invites for her side of the family already and I got my first RSVP back today. I was shocked! I can't believe it.

I actually have to have them in the mail by October 15. My RSVP date is November 25. I didn't expect to get any RSVP's back yet. FH's mom sent out 50 invites for their side of the family. (she didn't want them calligraphied (sp?)

No I think you should be fine..I think you send them out 2 months before your wedding... the rsvp is a month after you send them out so you have a month before your wedding to know who is coming

I don't think so. I'm only sending mine out so early because of the holidays. I think typically all your RSVP's are supposed to be in a month before your wedding date. So, if you're getting married mid Feb, I would make them due the week after New Years. I think you need to mail the invites a month before the RSVP's are due.
