YAY OBAMA!!! Hearing all of the kids cheering and clapping when he was sworn in is something that I can't wait to tell my kids about!!!!!

I took the day off today not to watch this though. I am a Republican and even though I respect the new President and hope he does a great job, this was just another day for me.

I have to say I agree.

I am the same.. I am happy we have matured as a country and i am pleased to be able to see this but as a republican it wasnt my focus of the day

im not a very emotional person but this morning when i was watching Today in NY cover when they were getting into the car for the first time to go to church as soon as i saw them i started to get choked up.

I really hope he does everything he promises to do and its going to take a while to turn this country around but i really believe in this guy.

FYI i HATE politicians. But i love me some Obama.

Me three, but I worked today. Meh.

I hope he can do all these wonderful things hes promised (except raising my taxes) but somehow I get the feeling his hands will be tied.

very excited to be part of history.... too bad our school doesnt have tv... couldnt watch and when we did try on the internet it went down.... taped it at home will watch tomorrow in school after state testing

I work at a nursing home and I watched it with the residents. Everyone was so excited and really into. I have to say the whole swearing in and his speech were very moving. I really like Obama and I hope he sticks to his words.
