My poor Truffle, she looks terrible. She is 15 and on deaths door. She hasn't kept food down in a week and she looks like she is in pain when she stands. She has dropped from her life long weight of 4 1/2 lbs, to only 3 lbs. She keeps looking at my mom and I with a look like she is asking us to die. My mom was holding off until my dad got home from Ohio, but my guess is it will be tomorrow or Monday at the latest.
I got her as a present for my 8th grade graduation, although really she is more my mom's dog, and Cookie, who was my grandmothers has become mine. But she is still my doggie and I am so sad.

I am so, so sorry. My own baby is very sick right now too, and is showing the same symptoms, not eating, drastic weight loss. I'm fearing for the worst myself.

I am so sorry!! It is such a hard decision because you don't want to put them to sleep too soon and then you don't want to extend it if they are in pain.... it is just always so hard to lose a pet. Poor honey!

I can't tell you how sorry I am to hear this, it's incredibly difficult to lose a pet, I know....my thoughts and prayers are with your, your family and Truffle right now.......

That is horrible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't even begin to tell u how sorry I am! Our doggy is 14 still pretty perky but already starting to have a lot of problems. I will be heartbroken when the day comes. A lot of ppl don't realize that it's just as bad as loosing a human family member Try to take it one day at a time my heart goes out to you and your family!!
