We have TOTALLY done this before but....

on a night like tonight....I'm in the mood for some 'gayness'. How did he propose? Tell me ladies...and if you told me already tell me again!

Haha! Cute! FH make me climb a mountain!!!!

No really he did. He was studying abroad in Greece and he flew me out to see him as my graduation present. We had planned on hiking up Mt. Olympus a few days after I got there. My sleep was all messed up so I got a cold! Anyway, we finally got to the top and he asked me!

i was sitting on my couch christams morning in my feetie PJs and my hair in a ponytail on top of my head lol my parents and brother anf FSIL were there. i got so excited when he did it i threw my arms around him and knocked the ring..box and all across the room!!....it bounced off the fireplace doors..if they were opened it would have been bad!!!! lol the best part...i didnt even know it happened!!!!!!!!!!! they were making fun of me at dinner and i was like 'WHAT?!?!?!?' lol

X-mas eve at my moms in front of about 50 family members. My cousin dressed up as anta and was giving gifts to the kids and then he called me up and when I opened the gift it was a precious moments of a boy proposing and the ring was on the figurine.

At the Hudson Hotel's lounge two days before Christmas (b/c I had a feeling it was coming he did it early) w/ one of our best friends and her guy there. Very private, very low key...perfect! Before we left to meet them, I was trying to rush him to get ready and didn't know he was having 'the talk' with my dad lol

I'm a teacher...last yr. I taught K. He came in to visit my class last period on the Fri before winter break (dec 22). He proposed in front of my class after giving me an ornament that said 'Will You Marry Me?' on it!

Christmas Eve with our families over and about 1/2 of the fire dept. one was dressed as Santa and one as an Elf etc... lol it was such a shock!

It was our first official day of our 2 week trip in Greece. We were held up in Athens, waiting for our flight to Mykonos, when we started having a convo about how we wouldn't get engaged for a few more months b/c we were in the middle of purchasing our first home, and money was tight.

So, we get to Mykonos and start our tour of the city.

The first stop was this really old Greek church. FH told me to walk around and take a lot of pictures b/c his father is really interested in Greek churches (they are Greek). Me, not thinking anything of it, started taking pictures of everrrrrrrrything.

Then I hear 'Lau. come here. I need to ask you something.' (FH always has silly questions. so I said 'whaaaaaat?' with an annoyed tone)

then he got down on 1 knee and asked.

best.moment.ever.

My FH took me to wildwood park where we were going to have a bbq with his parents. After the BBQ we went for a hike up what seemed like a large mountain. After treking for 45 minutes and me complaining of a headache we reached a plateu on the mountai where it overlooked the sound with the beautiful rocks. He told me he had something for my headache and pulled out the ring and asked me if i thought that would help take the pain away. He said some beautiful thing s and that got down on his knee and asked me to maryy him. Then we found an easier route down the mountain and walked the beach up to where his parents were camping and my family was there with decorations and cake to celebrate with us!
