It's a tough market out there right now for buyers. There are so many buyers out there and not a lot of houses. Keep looking, you will find something. When you do, bid as much as you think you can and don't count on negotiating too much. A large DP helps as does flexibility with your moving requirements. Also, are your agents introducing you to the homeowners? That can help in many cases where the owners have several offers. Sometimes (if the offers are close enough), they will go with the buyers they developed a nice rapport with. Your agent should try and introduce you if possible! Good luck.
