The only one of those I looked at was Stuart Manor CC. My # 1 priority was being the only bride. FH didn't want to do any location that had a golf course, and I personally don't care for Lessings. So those decisions kept us away from the Hamlet, and Tall Grass.

what did u like about smcc other than being the only bride?

It had old world charm. I loved the high ceilings with the beams, and the fireplaces were beautiful. The long oak bar was a perfect compliment to the overall atmosphere of the location. The thing I didn't like was the way the ceremony was set up on the front lawn for the entire neighborhood to see. However, that was not the reason I didn't chose it. SMCC was one of 2 places I had on my list to bring FH to see that I liked, but once I saw EW, SMCC and the other place went completely out the window. I just fell in love with EW.

I chose Fox Hollow because it's so beautiful and the Winter Garden Pavillion is a unique room. Please keep in mind I'm biased, that's where my wedding is!

why did you choose FH?

There is one pic on there website that I absolutely fell in love with. It's the one where the WGP is full of candlelight. That's how I pictured my wedding. When I researched other sites, I kept comparing them to FH.
I loved the wrought iron chairs, the atmosphere of the whole place, that your guests choose which entree out of the 7 that they want (you don't have to narrow it down to 2 or 3), the water feature in the room, the beautiful inn right next door, the Scotto reputation...I could go on and on...

I think that the SMCC is charming! If you have the whole thing there I think you can take pics in their little side room but you'd have to ask them- I didn't look there b/c they were too small for me but I attended one and I had a blast! (This is one of my many regrets for having a large wedding.)

I love the WGP at the FH but my wedding is so darn large I can't use it at all! I'm dissapointed bc I wanted a smaller wedding and that room is my fave! Fh is good quality overall but I just attended a wedding there last weekend and wasn't blown away now that I'm actually critiquing...they have great photo locations tho

I don't remember if Jericho Terrace is on your list but they have a good rep too.
