if we cant obsess here, where else are we SUPPOSE to do it!!!

if you dont like it here you dont have to sign ONNNNNN and participate in converstations, that are mostly about sex, food, and whipped cream vodka, with an occasional post about how a vendor effed us over. and oh yeah wedding countdowns..



maybe we should vote her BOTW and then see how she changes her tune

i sorta get where u are coming from in the grand scheme of things its 5 hours and we spend a ton of money and time planning every moment of it... but it is a day most of has dreamed of for so long that we can not help but get caught up a little. i mean at the end of the day i am marrying a wonderful man- and the stressing about fonts and favors really doesn't matter to anyone but me really but this is my dream and i can go as nuts as i want...

I am not referring to anyone specifically. I think this site can be super helpful when asking for advice or trying to get opinions, but I just feel like it also makes it incredibly easy to get all wrapped up in your own wedding. I mean there have been days when I spent the ENTIRE day on here and got nothing accomplished. I just think that sometimes things need to be put into perspective.

I understand where you are going with this and you are entitled to your opinion. If you feel too wrapped up in all the wedding stuff sometimes you just need to take a step back from it. I do it sometimes when I feel overwhelmed or feel like Im not getting other important things done. However I must say that I don't think its a bad thing that we are all wrapped up in or very excited about our weddings. It may not be a huge ordeal to others but for ourselves, our families and our friends it is. Its a lot of hard work and planning and takes a long time to get it all done. We are all getting married and starting a new journey and part of our lives and I think thats kind of a big deal As for the site..yes its hard to stay away for me cause I love everyone here and I love that I can share all my thoughts and excitement but when I need to get things done or I have other things on my agenda I just don't sign on until I can or I have time to. No one is making us go on this site except ourselves ya know? We have the option to either be on it or not be on it.

I'm not on the boards as much as I used to be - I was a serial poster for a while LOL thanks to working part-time from home. I lurk here and there and post when I can. I get it - it can totally suck you in. If you have a lot of downtime, hours an be wasted on this site.

I honestly feel that my planning has come to a hault b.c of work (obvi) and b/c im not on here as much. Seeing everyone get checks used to light a fire under my *** to get things done LOL

It's all relative IMO... some deal with it better then others. I get we use this as a venting place too and we all vent about lots of things. In the end some brides will think there wedding is THE wedding of the year and others just go w/ the flow - it's like that with anything in life. Some times you just have to take it all with a grain of salt.

there are def days when im fighting with FH or just not in a super wedding mood, Those days I just dont post much.
Dont get me wrong tho, that happens so rarely and im usually on here ALL the time!
I love it here and all u girls and am proud of being aLL wrapped up!

Wow....I really cannot believe this post! First off like another bride said it's LI Weddings for peeps sake!!! I will DEF not get over myself...I am obsessed with my wedding and will be until the day it happens! It only happens once so you should take a moment out of your crabbyness and enjoy it before in a blink of an eye it's over!

I come on here because we can talk weddings all day long...I DON'T DARE...talk about weddings to anyone else who isn't getting married cause then you will get...omg that's all you talk about is your wedding! No...the last I check I never even mention it! Ha! That just annoys me...
