we have a cocktail hr with carving stations, pasta station (we arent doing seafood b/c we're doing kosher style), passed hors d'oeuvres and a few other stations I cant remember. We're having 2 appetizers, salad and dinner and 3 dessert choices and cake. I didnt like viennese (sp?) hour idea - not my taste.

alicia, at the WM, we have EITHER an appetizer and a regular salad (just fruits and veggies...kind of 'bare bones' straight up no frills) or a 'combination' course, where it's JUST a salad, but the salad choices contain either seafood or prosciutto...a little more 'beefed up' so to speak.

I think you'll be absolutely fine.

I agree, no worries, everyone will be enjoying CH so by the time they are brought into the main room, they'll be fine.

We're doing the combo app/salad too, we think that would be best, leave more time to dance and work off all the goodies from the CH.

you know it is kinda strange that they are giving you a salad course, b/c it's usually standard everywhere no matter what your appetizer, cocktail courses are, everyplace has salads. do they offer something else unique that no other place has?

we are doing the salad/app combo - it is peppered shrimp on a huge bed of lettuce....so it is two in one.
