We went DANCING!

One of you ladies asked me to post my experience after I went...can't remember who wanted to know but here it is:

FI and I went for our first lesson at Nika Ballet Studio in Bklyn and had such a blast!!!! The dance teacher is incredibly nice and very talented. We danced for 45 min (spent the first 15 getting to know each other listened to our music and talking about the kind of dance we wanted).

We're going back for lesson #2 on Wed.

Can't wait!

I love that FI was open to this. I'm actually surprised at how open he was. As soon as I brought it up, he said sure b/c this moment will be captured on video forever and looks so amazing when a couple looks like they know what they're doing.

It really was a lot of fun for both of us. I love to dance and FI doesn't. He was, however, really enjoying himself.

We're learning a sexy tango number for our love story and will then learn a waltz for our first dance.

Convince your FI to at least try it once. A good teacher will never make him feel bad for not being good at it.
