I just had a question. I've seen many people after they are married and they no longer wear their engagement ring. I always wondered why they would just stop wearing it? I would want to wear my engagement ring AND my wedding band together! Am I alone here?

i think people usually stop wearing the both of them when they get older. I'm not sure why. My sister doesn't always wear hers; she has a diamond eternity band instead. But that's only sometimes.
i'm not sure what i'll do - I'll definitely wear both but not sure if I'll wear them together.

My mom has worn both for the past 28 years... I plan on doing the same. But things happen. One friend gained a lot of weight when she became pregnant and a year later can't seem to lose it. Neither of her rings fit.

I am going to war mine. My wedding ring fits in the middle of my engagement ring. I can't wait to wear both. It iwll be nice though if I am just running out somewhere quick that I can just put on the wedding band and go.

This was a dilemma for me. I ended up buying a simple ring for myself to wear with my engagement ring and FH bought me a really pretty non-traditional wedding band to wear by itself. It ended up costing less than a single channel set wedding band.

I dont ever take my e-ring off. I hope to wear it all the time once we are married!
I know lots of people who don't wear their e-ring once they have kids, sometimes the setting scratches their small babies and kids. So they just wear a plain band.

I never heard of anyone wearing one ring unless they never was really engaged, meaning that they got married right away. I am wearing both of my rings until the day we die

I will always wear my ering... I love that my grandparents are married 60 years and she still has her ering & wedding band on, always and I love the worn look the rings have now...

Before the wedding I figured I'd wear both rings all the time but now I don't. Lots of times I just put my wedding band on. I love how it looks alone & having the option of wearing it alone. I still wear my e-ring sometimes too but not every day anymore.

i will be wearing both. my wedding band cant be worn without my e-ring. my mom, grandmother, aunts and FMIL all wear both and always have.
