Wedding after party?
A few people had mentioned to me about doing an 'after party'. My reception ends at 11, by the time the transportation picks us up and takes us to the hotel it would probably be closer to 12. Is this after party necessary? I feel like I would be exhausted after the wedding. Is anyone doing something like this?

Wedding after party?
I think it's more common for day weddings, but sometimes people do it at night too.. I don't plan on it, I'll be wayyyy to exhausted. Up at the @$$ crack of dawn, running around all day, nerves, stress. I doubt I'll even make it to the end of the reception lol

I feel the same way haha- it's going to be such a busy day that I know already that I'll be falling asleep, hopefully I will make it through the reception! I have a hard time now even staying up late so who knows.. Do you think people would be disappointed? I don't want to do anything that will make people annoyed or anything
I just want time after the reception to be with fh- not have to entertain people with an outting

Wedding after party?
A lot of the weddings I've gone to have had after parties but many were on a whim. Also, sometimes guests have gone out for an after party without the couple bc they were exhausted and wanted to spend time together.I think you should do what feels right for you and if your guests feel like they want to go out somewhere they can do it on their own :)

You're definitely right. It has been so frustrating trying to figure out the logistics of an after party! I won't give it another thought until we get closer to the wedding- I'll find places to recommend to our guests since I know now I definitely won't want to go

Wedding after party?
We are just arranging for the bar to stay pen later at the hotel. We are also looking into having late night food available

Wedding after party?
We are just planning on going to the bar at the hotel and anyone who wants can join. We are not doing anything formal for the ap so this way we are free to leve whenever we want

Wedding after party?
My wedding end at midnight and then I'm just going to keep drinking with people at the hotel. I leave for the honeymoon at 3:30am so I told FH that there's no point in going to sleep haha.

Wedding after party?
My friends recent wedding we all went back to the hotel and asked the hotel I we could use the breakfast room, people ordered pizza and we just hung out. It wasn't planned to be an afte party but we were all so happy to be reunited that we created one ourselves.
