wedding anxiety!

OMG! I'm crying at the drop of a hat, I cant get out of the bathroom, Im having strange dreams, my teeth hurt, my side hurts, my tummy hurts, and Im so tired! I cant concentrate I messed up the saving account by a thousand dollars. Should I go to the doctor and 'get a little something' to calm me down? I never thought I would be like this!

I'm so sorry!!

It might not be a bad idea to get a little help!
Anything inparticular bothering you? Or just general wedding stress?
Might help to talk it out, sleep, exercise, make sure you eat well.
Get 'a little something' if you need it. No shame in that.

Remember, it's only one day out of your life, don't put so much stress into that one day.

Hang in there

maybe you can take a day off of work and relax - sleep late, take a bath....
maybe you can delegate some of the things that need to be done to others...?
good luck!!!

My FBIL swears by Ambien for a good night's rest.... I don't think they are a narcotic, but don't quote me.

I am all for you taking a mental health day if you can and just try to do at least one thing for yourself.... a bath, a massage, what ever relaxes you...even a nap.

Feel free to FM if you want to talk about anything.

I'm probably going to need a similar pep talk in about 6 months, but try not to stress. (I know, easier said than done!) Do your best to focus on how wonderful your wedding is going to be and how you are going to finally be able to call the man you love your 'husband.' If negative thoughts enter your mind - quickly chase them away with a positive one. I find that exercise helps me release nervous energy. Also, if you are worrying, you may want to try writing down your thoughts and fears. Somehow, when what you're thinking is written down, it becomes so much more clear and manageable. Finally, there is nothing wrong with seeing a doctor (or even a counselor) for some assistance.

That's some great advice on wedding anxiety.
I went through the same thing and they put me on some meds.
There is nothing wrong with talking to someone or taking something, just to calm you down a little.

So just try and relax!

Thanks everyone. I thinks its also the big life change that happens with marriage. He is moving in here and the space is so small. We are looking for a house but haven't had much luck, and that's been stressful. There is no room here so we have been looking for a home for my little shitu who I love. I haven't had much luck there either. Its just a combination of everything. So many changes, and Im up for tenure at work. Ugh. Thanks for being a great bunch of people that let me vent. That helps in of itself!

I can relate. All what I think is about all the stuff I have to do. I can't even imagine what the week before will be like!

If you have a few extra bucks, (haha yeah right ..like any of us do right now why not take the day off, get a massage, have your nails done, take a nice bubble bath...pamper yourself a litte bit. That always works for me. As for the sleep thing, sometimes reading a good book while in bed helps, and not a wedding planner. A good novel, some kind of mystery, fill your mind with other things before bed.

I am sure that all of us march brides are feeling similarly at this point. Just relax, take deep breaths and talk to someone. If that doesn't work then talk to a doctor. You are expeiencing wedding jitters and just need to stay calm.

No wonder you're so stressed, your wedding is less than 2 weeks away! I would be freaking out too. I think it's normal.
