I got both also ... I mainly wear the diamond ring w/my e ring ... 5 rounds ... about 1.3 cts ... but I'll wear the plain one sometimes too, like when I'm out in the city & don't want attention or on vacation or cleaning!

I say ... if you want it, get it now ..... there's always an excuse later on why you can't afford it. I have too many gf's that went through that!

I am getting both. My FI purchased a matching wedding band with 6 baquettes in it when he purchased my e-ring and I also want a plain gold wedding band.

Mine is diamonds...and I love it!! Especially since I have a solitaire...I think it looks nice...

My FI said that he NEVER wants me to change the wedding band. As far as he was concerned the ring he puts on my finger on the big day will be the only wedding band I will ever have.....sooo I decided to get what I really want now!! I'll try to post a pic.

I have a diamond one which I wear 99% of the time and a plain one. I would get a diamond one.

My wedding band is being made with diamonds to match my e-ring. I definately wanted DIAMONDS! I wanted a ring that I will LOVE forever not one that I'd want to replace because I don't like really like it.

We actually bought 2 bands for me

1 platinum w/princess cut DIAMONDS (which I'll get married with), & 1 plain white gold band cuz I work w/my hands a lot & for situations where I don't need to bling bling, like when we have kids & stuff.

Chloe I am gettiing a diamond band for my 1st anniversary. I really couldn't afford one at the time of the wedding. My wedding band is white gold w/ like 7 little dia. chips in it. It was from ross simons and i got it for like $150 it also blends okay, believe it or not, w/my platinum engagement ring.

platinum diamond eternity band. I did not like the plain platinum wedding bands.

I got diamonds and saphires to match my diamond and saphire ering. DH got diamonds and saphires too.
