My ring was custom made by my FH, but it looks like a common ring, it is a channel setting with a princess diamond, but he actually got the setting in one store and then picked a diamond somewhere else, the wedding band has diamonds on it and they go exactly from the start to the end of the diamonds in the channel setting. It's perfect

No doubt about it....DIAMONDS!! I am having it made to match the side stones on my e-ring...all baguets.

i have one platinum and diamond band to match my e ring and one platinum 5mm custom band that dh had designed with snowflakes etched into so i would always have a reminder of our wedding (snowflake theme)close to my heart

Scoop - is it common to get another ring for 1 year anniv? Isn't that a lot of rings?

I'm looking for withr one that matches with the brillinat cut and baguetts on my e-ring, or an eternity ring

I had BOTH one with diamonds and one without. My husband is Jewish and traditionally the ring needs to be free of precious stones.

Definte DIAMONDS!!!! one plain one for everyday but the real deal is defintely diamonds, it is probably going to get up to my knuckle but bring on the diamonds.

FH got me both - an eternity band with baguettes all around and a plain 3mm white gold band with a miligrain edge (I'm not a big fan of platinum)

I got one ring with a little of both.
It's a gold band with small diamonds set within the ring itself spaced out around the ring. About 8 diamonds all together, but it's still rather simple and still sparkly and it would go with anything I wear.

It comes in plantium too.

Although diamonds are a girls best friend, I am going to get married in a plain platinum band and then get a diamond band for 1 year anniversary. You can always buy the diamond band, but you can't just buy a plain wedding band after you have already gotten married..it has sentimental value. Plus, a lot of diamond bands you cannot engrave on the inside.
When in doubt, buy both!

I was originally planning on a plain band, but someone posted a pic on here of one with diamonds and I thought it would be perfect with my e-ring, so I'm not sure yet. I think I'd feel bad asking to spend a lot more $ on my wedding band after getting spoiled with a beautiful e-ring.

My first choice was a plain platinum band - the same width as my e-ring....but my future-in-laws offered me FH's grandmother's wedding band (diamonds). My engagement ring belonged to his other grandmother!!! I feel extremely honored!
