FH wants to pick up our wedding bands this weekend which means we need to give them the engraving.....
We were thinking of doing 'I carry your heart' - I got that from a fellow LIWer Kathryn and FH really likes it....and I like it, but I'm not sold....he wants to go ahead with that...
My ERING already has Always&Forever engraved in it....
anything romantic or short sayings? do you have an engraving?

My DH and I were going to get our rings engraved but there ended up not being enough time.
We were going to surprise each other with the saying though. Sorry I can't help u out with what to say in it but surprising each other with the message is romantic!

We combined a couple things...our initials, our wedding song, and the date..
so mine says: 'JSB True'
and his says: 'Companion 8.9.08'

ours each say 'wdil 8-17-08'
wdil stands for something meaningful to us from way back when, and we always knew we would engrave it in our wedding bands
my ring is super skinny though so it's reaaaaaaaally tiny but still legible

Since your Ering says 'Always and Forever', maybe you can have your wedding band say, 'You and Me' or 'We'll live as one' or 'We'll love as one'....get my drift? Make it complete the first statement..I think that's cute!

we decide to go with:
'you have my heart 12-05-08'
except mine is too small to fit the words, so mine is abbreviated to 'YHMH 12-05-08' which kind of stinks that they can't fit the whole thing but oh well
we plan on picking them up tomorrow! yay!

im not sure why mine won't fit the whole thing - she said that if i wanted more than 5 letters it wont have the platinum stamp anymore but my ering has always&forever - which is 14 letters and the platinum stamp is still there - i guess it may have something to do with the setting of the wedding band - but i thought my wedding band was all closed on the inside - maybe not? my ering band is closed - the entire inside is metal and smooth....
