I've been to a few jewelry stores and tried on some bands over the course of my engagement but they never have a big selection and they tell me that they will make me the ring that I want. I am the kind of person that needs to see it on my finger and next to my e ring to know if I will like it. So my question is where can I go that has a nice selection of bands for me to try on? I live in suffolk so preferably out this way.

Go to Tri County and jumped from booth to booth to see if you see anything you like. That way, you can only go to one place but hit up a lot of jewelers!
This!! I got both of my rings there at Diamond Roof. They are one of the larger booths with a huge selection

We got all our rings from Tiffanys and have had great service there thus far. No prong problems whatsoever thus far. They check your ring before they clean them (for free) to make sure there are not loose stones and so they wont break it when they clean it.
We did check out Libutti jewelers in huntington and they were pretty nice to deal with. I forget the woman's name but she was nice. The carry Tacori and other bands there. Maybe check them out? She was not pushy at all, just didn't have what we were looking for. Maybe you want a curved wedding band to match your split shank?
I think we were pretty set on getting a matching ring for my engagement ring and nothing but the matching Tiffany ring really was what we were looking for.

For those of you who bought your rings at tri county- Did you buy a ring right out of the showcase or do they make you the ring after you pick one out that you like??? How do you know the quality of the diamonds?? Can anyone FM me their tcw of their band and price that you paid.

You pick it right out of the showcase and it can be fitted to your size. I am sure some booths may be able to do custom work if necessary as well. I am assuming you know the quality of the diamonds as you would anywhere else you would purchase the ring.

We went to tri-county just to look too and ended up buying from Jewelers Pavilion, I got two bands w/diamonds to wear on either side of my e-ring and I love them!!! They also sized my e-ring for me for free(the jeweler my FH bought it from put a ring guard in and did a horrible job)

Went to Atias flea market. Even if you don't buy you can try on so many styles and there are so many booths you can't go wrong. Good luck
