Re: Wedding cake

Our RH is paying for it but we are ordering it from Cakes by Jay. Otherwise it would be $1,000!

Re: Wedding cake

my cake is being done by the RH. I didnt choose one of their upgraded cakes, but the one i asked them to do for me was the same amount as their upgraded cakes so it worked it...

Rh cake...We dont have the extra $$ to spend on a cake. Our RH uses Erga bakery

RH's cake...which I'm leery of. For a place with such sick food, their desserts tend to be a little lacking, kinda lopsided and dated looking...but they change bakeries like underwear so maybe will be different by December, who knows!

Kerrijohns and I are having/had the same cake! It was the cake included from our RH. Mine was 4 tier, square, fondant covered red velvet cake with cream cheese filling. I don't know what kind of covering and shape Kerri is doing tho. I would recommend Audrey's Bakery in Sayville, Cakes by Jay in Glen Head, Baked to Perfection in Port Washington for bakeries. Good luck!

That's a beautiful cake. I think what may end up costing you a lot for it is that its fondant. But ask them if they can make it and negotiate on the price it's over your budget. You should be able to work something out.
