Wedding Cake HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi all, I am new to LIWEDDINGS. My FH and I were engaged 9/26/08 and we just found a reception place we LOVE...however their package does not include a wedding cake...disaster! so now I am on the hunt for a reasonably priced and delicious wedding cake.

Does anyone have any recommendations for bakeries?

ps our wedding is may 2010, I am an early planning bride! :)

thanks much

our cake was included with our hall, but i would recommend looking at these bakeries (as their cakes are all wonderful):

Rolling Pin Bakery, Setauket (our cake was from here, and FABULOUS)
Create a Cake, Port Jeff Station (we tested from here for another hall, and also very good)
Copenhagen Bakery, Northport Village (this is where my family gets special cakes from...a little pricey but worth EVERY penny)

I used Baked to Perfection in Port Washington for the cake for my sister's shower (pics are in my album). I could not have been more happy with how the cake looked or tasted! People even tried to crash the party to get a better look at the cake.

Thank you! It was in the Garden Room at Milleridge Inn. We had the high tea menu. They really went above and beyond.

we had our cake made from Audrey's Bakery and it was DELICIOUS and very pretty. Our RH included the cake which is made by their bakery so I dont know how much one would cost. What price range are you looking at?

You can also contact monst era cakes at gmail.com (no spaces) and see how much their cakes are too. He made my grooms cake which was also Yummy!

I LOVED our cake. It was made by Create a Cake in Port Jefferson and was included with our hall. I'm so glad we didn't spend the extra $$$ on a cake. It turned out beautiful! I provided the cake topper (was made by DK Designs Hawaii) and the ribbon. The cake itself was red velvet.
