The only thing I can say - is that the two of you want to be married and are still together, you definitely DO NOT need a large expensive reception to be married - remember the MARRIAGE is more important than the reception - and it only costs $40 for a marriage license - and then you guys can have an informal BBQ or just a dinner out to celebrate with yoru very closest friends...

somebody posted something on here where if you cancel within 6 months of your event date in Suffolk county then you are entitled to your money back minus $100. So definitely you should get your money back. So sorry to hear about all of this.
