I am sooo sorry to hear this! Like everyone sd - no words can ease your pain ...

Keep your chin up, and be thankful that you found the one you love ... and as long as he is there for you, and the two of you love each other, thats whats more important. Don't give up .. timing is not on your side for a wedding right now - but you never know what tomorrow will bring .. you deserve it girl - and I have faith that you will get it one day - soon!!!

I'm so sorry to hear that you're going through this. I wish I could say something to make it all better but I know that's impossible.
Like some others have said don't give up - as long as the both of u love eachother u can face any obstacle that come your way. This will undoubtedly strengthen your relationship and when your big day comes it will be that much more special because you'll know that your love can beat anything.

Laura, I am so sorry to hear about this. I know this sounds crazy now because you are in pain and dealing with a huge disappointment but everything really does happen for a reason. The point is that you and FH are still together. As wonderful as a large reception might be, it pales in comparison to the love you have for each other. In the end your committment to each other is what matters most, not a 5 hour party.

I admire your elegance and grace during this difficult time. I wish you, FH and your son the best of everything because you truly deserve it.

I totally understand how you feel about the $$ issues - me and FH are paying for our wedding - We are both getting alittle overwhelmed with the thoughts & realities of coming up with it all - trying to figure out how we are going to do it...plus pay for our mortgage and everything else!

The best part is you and your FH are still together - that is the most important part!
