i almost bought my dress there. it was a really cool place, they have everything. didn't end up buying it there b/c it would have had to be picked up as soon as it came in which was a month before the wedding and since i live with dh didn't want to do that

We used them for my BM dresses and MOB dress. They all came in early! We didn't use them for alterations though so I can't say. Other than that we found them to be very nice.

Despite negative feedback that I have seen about them, I bought my wedding gown there, got a great deal on it and the customer service was great. Carol was very patient with me and let me try on 15-20 different gown (I was there for HOURS!) I actually already have the dress at home.
They’re a wedding factory, so don’t expect elegance or anything like that. but the bottom line for me mattered more – since my mom was paying and I didn’t want to take advantage of her generosity.

please be careful --- their photog ruined my FSILs wedding.
MISSED extremely key shots, like first kiss, and then joked about 'throwin the dress back on and asking the church to borrow some altar time.'

Great prices on the dresses but I have heard bad things about the salespeople and the service. My mom bought her gown there but had her alterations done elsewhere.

I can tell you about my experience as a BM: the people downstars always seem too busy doing nothing to help anyone. The alterations were horrible, so if you do order from there, don't get the alterations done from them. My friend who's wedding I was the BM for ordered her gown from there, and when she went to go pick it up, it was the wrong dress. They ordered the wrong one. To be fair to them, they did get her the correct one, but it did take about a month, so it was good her wedding was still a bit away. I live in Commack, and as convenient as it is to go there, I am staying away from CWC.
They are severely understaffed by the BM dresses. We waited for 30 minutes to be helped and then they just walked away. My mom and I ended up clipping the dresses to my sister ourselves and the sales ladies laughed saying they should hire us.
They do guarantee the cheapest prices in town, though. The selection is huge and great if you really think you like a gown in a mag. and want to see it up close. It is a great place to window shop and try stuff on.
I personally wouldn't buy from there b/c I didn't get the best feeling from the workers. They try to push all the other items they have (That's their job, but still....) I am probably going to get the bm dresses from the same bridal shop I got my dress, or from netbride.com (who beat out CWC's prices)

I used them.. Here is my wedding review
Overall I was very happy with them.. The biggest thing it that you save money!
I didn't get my dress or my BM dresses there (that is where I have heard a lot of people complain about them)
