wedding color help

Hi All!!
I'm getting married in Autumn (Oct), but I want to have a stress free wedding day so I'm starting to plan everything from now! I have already the venue, music & entertainment and photographer, but I am stuck with the colours! At first I thought on red wine ivory but as I googled it, I found it to be the most common colour for almost every wedding (as it is a beautiful combination). So i decided to change to something different but still beautiful!
I have decided to go for navy blue ivory either: light yellow (Y) OR orange (O). Both of them look really nice, I am in love with the yellow but fiancée likes better the orange as it is more autumnal (which is a fair point).
So I am planning to have the chair covers in ivory sash in blue flowers of the centre pieces & BMs in (either) Y or O. My bouquet would still be ivory with a hint of Y or O. What do you think about the whole combination & which colour would you chose - Y or O?

2013 crasher. I'm getting married in Oct. & we are doing navy, ivory, with some light grey. My girls will be in navy dresses with sunflowers in their bouquets. Just be careful with using yellow or orange dresses, they aren't colors that look great on everyone. I would look at your bridal party & see which color looks best on your girls. HTH :)

Orange is my favorite color and I'm using royal blue and orange so my vote goes to orange.

Im having truffle (dark brown) dresses and using mainly orange with touches of yellow for the flowers. HtH

I'd have to go with orange. If FH and I got married in the fall we would have done Blue Orange and White. You could add hints of yellow too and I think that would look nice if you wanted to use both colors. To me though yellow is more spring-y then fall-y lol

My sister got married in October and the girls wore this gorgeous burnt orange color. She paired it with yellow/maroon in the flowers. It was the perfect fall colors- to me, the yellow and blue is more spring/summer. HTH!

I like the colors combos in the first link you posted - the orange with a little yellow. Both are pretty, but all yellow strikes me as summer.

I do think the navy and yellow looks a little more summery but I like that combo better. The Mets are the first thing that comes to mind when I see blue and orange. I would go with the color combo that you like best and don't worry about the season!
