Does anyone have recommendations for wedding coordinators? I am also curious about pricing...

Re: wedding coordinators
$900 for the whole time? I have been engaged for a year and booked everything already. Do you think it's necessary for me to get a planner at this point or should I just hire one for the day?

Re: wedding coordinators
$900 for the day of the wedding. Everyone that has had one LOVES the DOC. I'm torn if its worth the money but It would make it sooo stress free that day for me

I would get a DOC only. If you already have everything book a DOC can still offer you advice from when you book them until the big day.

i agree, especially with the use of this site a full-fledged planner would not be practical but of DOC will help make your day run perfect and take a lot of pressure off you, your mom, and BMs

Re: wedding coordinators
Does anyone know what the DOC will do that day that really makes it worth it? I am not sure if I should do it either.
Dazzling affairs is running a December promo right now and the DOC will cost a little less than $900 I think. There is a woman named Francesca who works there and she also works for Jericho Terrace. I can use her for free up until that day for small advice but I am not sure if its worth it to bring her on board for the day of my wedding. So far she has been great when I have worked with her. So hard to make these decisions and I don't want to regret not having one. For those using a DOC, what were the main reasons you decided to use one? Thanks!

Re: wedding coordinators
Hey girls Just a question for those of you considering DOCs, do you not have a bridal attendant at your RH? My RH has 2 bridal attendants the day of. I just wanted to know bc I plan on using the bridal attendants for any running arounf crazy stuff at the site that day (my ceremony is at the RH)

Re: wedding coordinators
I highly recommend Christine for EAP - she's really good and reasonable for a DOC if $900 is too much for you

I used Francesca last month.. she was WORTH EVERY DIME. I rarely used her during the planning process. but she was the best on my wedding day.. I am not kidding.

Wow, I feel like I should book her now. You are so convincing. If I go with a DOC, I am def. going to go with Francesca. Now it is a matter of convincing FH to go over budget and use her. Wish me luck!

Funny, DH was a little unsure of her too. like what is she gonna do that anyone else cant? By the end of the church, he was loving her. She made to usher everyone out, not to form a receiving line, pacified my crying FG's, carried them out of the pics if need be, whipped out bobby pins out of her pocket when a curl came out, lint brushed DH a dozen times, we forgot to make a seating card for 2 guests... she whips out a copy of my seating chart and seats them. there were a million other things, she just made sure the day went smooth. She boxed up everything at the end of the night. You and your family will be tired, she just ties up all the loose ends. The week before the wedding, she will call all your vendors, and confirm times and such - you dont need to. she will put together a great timeline.. any more? just FM me.. good luck to you.

Re: wedding coordinators
Where is francesca from Exquisite Affairs? I think it's totally worth the money. Since most of us have only done this once in our lives we have no idea what to expect!
