Does the date you chose for your wedding date have any special meaning?
It's wasn't done on purpose but it turned out that mine will be on my parent's anniversary. It's special to me because my mother passed away about 11 years ago.
We picked our date for no special reason. But we did pick Jan 2nd because we figured that it would be the day after New Year's and a lot of people would have off from work, and it would be a fun time to party all over again, since it is right after New Year's.

Ours is closest to when we 'officially' started dating, however it was a hard choice because it is also around the time my nephew passed away...we started dating Nov 10,2005 and my nephew passes Nov 11 2006, so it was a hard choice because it was such a sad time and I didn't want the date to be hard on my family, however it is what my nephew would have wanted.
well I wanted may 9th 2009 because he proposed on may 9 2007 but we might go for may 8th.... ?

We met on May 31, 2000
So we will be getting married 9 years later on the day we met...god 9 years that's forever!!! lol

All of our special dates fall on Monday or Tuesday so that was out of the question. He proposed in August so we figured it worked.

That is sooo sweet! Unfortunately our wedding date is just what the RH had available in March! lol

I am sure this has been mentioned in the past, but how would all of you feel about being invited to a 4th of july wedding? Cool idea or no???
Me and FH absolutely love the date, but not sure how others would react... I personally do not normally go away for the 4th... Just end up BBQing at someone's house

I really wanted November. I always envisioned a nice cool day and the colors of the leaves looking great in pictures (as well as the fact that my fiance would complain about wearing a tux in the heat!) But we picked the 3rd of October because it might still be warm enough to be outside but not too humid.
We couldnt do November because of our work schedules..So October it is. Now I have to get everything booked and get the ball rolling

I have always wanted November. I think it is such a beautiful month and couldn't do any summer months because of fh. He gets hot very quickly lol. Anyway the 21st is really anything special but after November 21, 2009 it will be special forever!!!

We wanted to stick with the number 23 since we started dating july 23rd. I have always wanted to get married in May - so when we checked May 23 2009 it was a saturday... it was meant to be!

Very cool! Your post made me think about mine... our anniversay is the 2nd... and we got engaged on the 12th (got that 2 thing going on) so maybe the 22nd for a wedding is a good date
