At first I always wanted a Christmas wedding but then I would have to do the Christmas theme cause it’s my fave holiday and I really want a Cinderella wedding so I thought fall would be great. Nov is my brother so that was a no cause his wife is weird like that. Oct would not work as I work for an accountant and we have tax extensions they would kill me. Sept back to school and too many oot to take off so FH actually came up with our date he said we should just do it on our anniversary which is 8/19 but it’s a thurs so we picked 8/20.

No special reason... I wanted 10/10/10 but my hall wanted more just for the date... so moved it to the week before... I should have just done it this October since everthing is already planned once I couldn't have my date!!! LOL!!!

For a few reasons... 1) we wanted to keep our wedding date (1/16) close to our real anniversary, which is 1/14. 2) we both hate the heat and would much prefer a winter wedding. and 3) it's much cheaper lol

well i always wanted june but i never thought it was possible until i heard the price for a saturday day wedding... so we just picked mid june (june 12, 2010)

I always thought I would want to get married in the summer but when we started looking at dates it was between the March 14 (engagement) or August 28 (first date). Then I took a look at the calendar and when I saw 10/10/10 I knew that was the date! Yes, the other dates we were looking at have significance to us but we wanted to create a new date to celebrate in addition to the other two!!! Plus I'm weird about numbers and the way they look, whether they are even or odd, lol!!!!

We wanted to have our wedding in the winter for cost reasons. Because I do home care my students have off from school (meaning I am off) for the February break. It just so happened that the Sunday before presidents day was Valentines Day which is our favorite holiday!

I wanted a date that was easy to remember because I'm bad at remembering things. So, before we got engaged, I made a list of dates that I would like. They included 10-10-10, 9-10-11, 12-11-10, 8-9-10 and 11-11-11. FH proposed 4/10, so 8-9-10 was out of the question. He thought 9-10-11 was too close to the 10 year anniversary of 9-11, so that was out. 11-11-11 was too far away. Then it was down to 10-10-10 and 12-11-10. I love the winter so we decided on 12-11-10 and I couldn't be happier! Now I tell people our wedding date is like the countdown to the end of FH's life!
We wanted valentines day but didn't want to do it on a sunday.
What we didn't realize is that its actually president's day weekend so we could have had it on 2/14/10
Oh well...

We wanted an Oct/Nov wedding...but it didnt work bc Im a teacher. We ended up getting a great price for july. it was a random date selection.

Originally we wanted May 2010 but after doing some research on RHs we realized we needed a little bit more time to save up....then according to our religion (Hindu) we have to find an auspicious date to get married on which narrowed it down even more....once we knew which dates were auspicious then we booked for Aug 2010!
Our wedding festivities start almost a week before the actual wedding ceremony so there's alot of dates to coordinate with! glad we're finally booked!

I origanally wante 10/10/10 but all of the sundays were booked til 2011!!!!!!!!! so I went with friday the 8th because it was cheaper and I figured it was will be a great way to start a holiday weekend for OOT guest
