Wedding Day Timeline

Has anyone written up a timeline for the wedding day? Our photographer said hair/makeup for me and all the girls should be done by 1:00 pm. We still haven;t finalized a time with the church, but I am thinking around 3:00. We are having a short ceremony, and then hopefully will be out by 3:30 (no receiving line), take a few pics, and and be out by 4. Be to our venue by 4:45 the latest, do our pics, and be able to make the cocktail hour at 7:00.

Does this make sense? Am I crazy?! I do not want to be rushed and feel like we are losing out on time, or be pressed for last minute pictures. Who knew this would be so stressful!?

i would say wait til you finalize things with the church and talk it over with the photographer, they would probably know best with the timing, and be sure to give yourself extra time for travel/people running late/ you know...anything that could pop up! This is one thing thats driving me crazy too , I hate all the logistics of the day lol

Re: Wedding Day Timeline

My wedding ceremony starts at 3:00 pm...hair and make up will be at the hotel I'm staying at between 8-830am for us to be ready by 12 or so when the Photographer arrives. More or less. So we can begin with pictures and continue from there. I think once your ceremony is locked time wise it will be easier for you to decide make up your timeline. It's how I did it. Hope this helps.

Wedding Day Timeline

I'm getting married at my location so it's a little harder for me to tell you since your doing a church ceremony but my ceremony is at 6 and the coordinator told us that we will want to be all ready by 3 and start taking pictures at 4. So all my family and wedding party pictures will be done before the ceremony that way we (as bride and groom) don't miss the cocktail hour because of pictures.
