Re: Wedding Dress
Had a GREAT experience at Burtons and they have amazing prices - I got my dress for half of what a local salon wanted for it :) Carol is great there

RK Bridal in NYC. reasonably priced and if you decide to go, have Olga help you. She's awesome.

If you are getting a Demetrios dress, I highly recommend Macy's in Smithhaven Mall. I live in Farmingdale and went all the way there b/c their service was excellent.

Re: Wedding Dress
Thanks soo much ladies - I appreciate all your suggestions - keep 'em coming!
Anyone have anything to say about the Wedding Salon Massapequa?
I actually got mine from Harold's in New Haven, CT. If you are willing to travel that far, I'll give you all the information.
I worked with Diane and she was so helpful, positive, straightforward and just simply great! I tried going to a salon in Lynbrook (forgot the name), Lillette's and Klenfeld's - and they couldn't compare to Harold's.
The reason why I had to go so far is because in NY, the designer of my dress only sold to Klenfeld's (which I personally did not care for) and some place in Saratoga Springs (4 hours away!!).
They let you take pictures too (unlike most bridal salons).
It was well worth the trip...

Re: Wedding Dress
The Designer Loft in NYC, RK Bridal has a good selection at reasonable prices but it is a mad house, Kleinfelds is a rip off, but if you want to get some ideas on what you like/don't like, make an appt there and you can buy the same dress cheaper somewhere else, Bridal Reflections in Massapequa - I visited a ton of places, but these are my favorites for either selection or price. I ultimately bought my dress at Burton's Bridal - they don't have a big selection, but I happened to stop in there and saw a dress that I was considering buying at Kleinfelds for $800 cheaper!! Their alterations were MUCH less expensive also AND they threw in a veil for free....Good luck!
