Just wanted to know the average price everyone is spending on there dress is? My FH says I spent too much $5000 and wanted everyone elses opinion.

i budgeted for 4K but actually fell in love with a dress that was 1/4th the price!

My budget for dress was about 2k, I hated everything. I had the most horrible time finding a dress. I hated the fabrics, the cuts, everythign was just off.
I finally found a dress for 4k, my aunt helped with the bill

Mine was $1800. I could NEVER spend $5k on a gown that I'd only be wearing once.

After alterations it was about $4K

my gown was gorgous (well atleast i thought so lol )....got it for $1050 plus alterations...(around 1500 all together).
5k is a lot for a gown but it depends on ur budget.

My parents are paying for mine. My budget is $3k. However, I know if I find something more than that its not a big deal if i LOVE it.
Remember, you can always do stuff with the dress afterwards. I heard a lot of girls make it into Christening gowns.

I spent about 1500 on my dress & veil. I feel in love with both and got em'. I think it depends on your budget. If you are comfortable with the price, then go for it.

mine was 4k it was originally more than i wanted to spend but, if its in your budget I say its ok. Its your day! Don't feel gulity!
