Wedding dress anxiety

Hey girls, I was just wondering about how many bridal salons on average did you visit before you found your dress. I just went to my 8th store today and didn't find the one.

Should I be getting worried? I just haven't fallen in love with anything yet.

are there any dresses you love when looking online at lots of designers sites and in magazines? Maybe try to narrow down the style of dress you love and designers.

Is there anything youve seen that you loved, not in person but like i said online or magazines? maybe somebody can help you with what designer to look at. Some people don't like the traditional type dresses and want something a bit different

also, at the stores do they let you pick the dresses or do they bring you out what they like. Or maybe the problem is that ALOT of girls always have in their minds what they think they would like but once trying it on they dont like it but still have that style stuck in their head instead of having an open mind and trying something completely different. So many girls ended up falling in love with a dress they never thought they would.

I found my dress at the first store I went to and ordered it. Then I wanted to try on more to confirm my purchase and I went to two other stores and decided I made the right choice.

I went to two stores.. RK Bridal and Designer Loft. But I did tons of research before going to stores.

BeforeI tried anything on I thought I wanted something by Paloma Blanca or Pronovias or San Patrick. When I tried on a few dresses by Paloma Blanca I felt they were a little too simple or too straight for my taste. Once I knew what I was looking for it became confusing because I ended up liking everything. So the trick is to narrow down what you want. But you can only do this once you try stuff on.

If you keep trying on ball gowns or A-lines or mermaid styles and you don't like any of them, try a different style. If you're sticking to one designer try a few others. And let the sales people make suggestions. They picked out really nice dresses for me that weren't on my 'try on list.' Remember they do this for a living.

ive been to four stores-i found my dress at the 4th store, but i plan on ordering it from a different store because it's 400 cheaper than where i tried it on

I went to 2 stores and my dress was the 1st one I tried at the 1st store, but I did try about a total of 13-15 dresses. just wanted to confirm that dress was the one

I went to about 10 places! It was the 10th store..and the second to last dress that I tried on...Hang in there you will find somthing!

Haven't looked yet...but I'm sure you'll find something...I agree with the other ladies about trying on different styles than the one you originally thought you liked

I went to two. But I think I tried on a total of 20-30 gowns before I found the one I loved. Even when I did find the one I loved, I was still torn between that and another. I lost a lot of sleep over it last night, but now I've made my decision and couldn't be happier! Now I just need to figure out where to buy it

I have been to only two stores. I really need to get my act together because I feel I have been slacking ever since I booked the majority of my vendors. I have been on a hiatus that I throughly am enjoying!!

But, seriously I need to attack the salons soon!! need to get my booty in gear.

No don't get worried! You just haven't find the one yet! And you have some time! I found my dress in a mag and hunted it down. I found BR was having a trunk show and literally jumped at the chance to see it! Start going through mags and I am sure you will find what your are looking for!

i picked out a few on-line that i liked. then went to try them on. in total i went to 3 stores & tried on about 30 dresses before i found the one

I went to Kleinfelds, tried on about 10.

Fell in love with one, that I'm 99.9% sure is 'it'.

However, I'm going to Pronovias in two weeks, and then Bridal reflections....so I'm giving myself until September.

Just knowing the way that I am , I want to be certain that I'm making the right decision.
