How far in advance does your dress usually come in? My wedding is in October and have still not received a call from Bridal Reflections. My bridesmaid dresses are in, but not mine. Should I be calling them? When is typically your first fitting? TIA
I'm getting married the same weekend, and my 1st fitting is Aug 5th. I'm not sure if thats normal- but its the only weekend my mom will be in town before the wedding
I ordered my dress in april and they told me it would come in September. I called about my veil and I was told my dress should be in earlier than september but wasn't told exactly when. I think it depends on when you order it. If you are feeling uneasy just give them a call of when they think it will arrive
i just called BR on friday, they told me end of august and I ordered the end of January
i ordered through wedding salon of manhasset and mine isn't in either.
they usually say 6-8 weeks before your wedding because this is when you start fittings. I am also getting married in October and Im hoping to get my dress in in August
I'm getting married Sept. 10 and I still haven't gotten a call about my dress. I spoke to the store and they said it usually comes in 5 weeks before the wedding. I guess it all depends on the stores policy.
im the week before you and the bridal shop I used said it should be in the 1st week of august.
i ordered mine from br in dec and it came in in may...first fitting is this friday
Thanks girls..just for ease of mind I called and it is actually IN!!! Going to call tomorrow and schedule 1st fitting. They said first fitting is two months before.

It's surprising how long it takes some dresses to come in. I wonder if it's the store or designer. I ordered my dress in VA in December and it came in March. It was so early, I didn't go try it on for a month. The salon is storing it for me until I start my fittings.
I ordered my dress in end of March and they said it would be in at the end of August. But you should call the store and ask them when its coming in, they should be able to tell you.
