I have booked the place and need to find a dress. I was woundering if anyone has any suggestions of places to find disigner dresses at a dicount. I have my eye on a Monique L'hiullier dress.
Places in the city are always having sample sales. Also, you can find out when the designer is having a trunk sale.
I bought the second dress I tried on. I wasent sure and went to a bunch of other places but, I went back for the first one. When its the one its the one!
I was at the Wedding Salon of Manhasset tonight and checked out the Monique Lhullier dresses for the trunk show. I think it is worth checking out. Before I went I thought it was important to have a dress id'd before going to a trunk show but in this case if you know there is a dress by this designer that you like, you will be able to try it on as well as others and if it turns out that the ML dress is the one, all the better! As for me, I tried on about eight dresses tonight and found a dress (not ML) at a really reasonable price and bought it on the spot. Also, the staff at the Wedding Salon are really great. I highly recommend them.
