Hey! So I fell in love with Paloma Blanca Dress 4165 and bought it for the big day. I keep feeling like it needs a crystal band or something but everyone is saying it doesn't. I would Love the Brides who have warn this dress to send some pictures of them in it and what they did to it! Thanks!! <3

I haven't worn the dress but judging from the picture I think you can go either way. It looks like you have some ruching detail there so it def doesnt look like anything is missing. But, I think adding a crystal band could be pretty too.

google the dress name and number and then click on images. I did this with my dress because I wanted to see the same thing as you.

It is a very pretty dress! I agree you can go either way.

Re: Wedding Dress Problems*

ok Thanks. Almost everyone says I don't need it because i have a large think diamond bracelet and if I have drop earrings and a drop necklace it would be too much..

exactly. if you play up the jewelry it will look pretty.

Or when you go in for a fitting see if the place where you got your dress has belts around for you to try on to get a feel for an idea of what it would look like. That way you can make a better decision.

Re: Wedding Dress Problems*

If you have statement jewelry, a belt might be too much.
Also, you might have a problem with a belt and the flower. A belt might detract from the flower. I can't see the detail in the middle of the flower, but maybe the seamstress can add a little bling to the flower.

I think a statement necklace and diamond studs would be gorgeous with it.

I think a blingy belt would be too much with the flower detail that is already on the dress. I would say one or the other, especially if you are wearing statement jewelery.

Re: Wedding Dress Problems*

There is actually a little bling in the flower but I thought the same thing when I bought the dress and decided to put the same starfish clip (having a rustic beach themed wedding) that I'm having it in my hair and in the flower.

I wouldn't do a belt, even if you decided to remove the flower detail. The ruching/gathering on the side would look funny with a belt. I think it's beautiful the way it is. Dress it up with some jewelry if you need more bling!

I agree that statement jewelry and a fabulous veil and headpiece are the way to add the bling!
