Wedding dress question: Am I crazy for considering a 2 piece?

I have gone to 3 places to try on wedding gowns and to be honest with you, I don't think I have had that 'THIS IS THE ONE!!!!!!' feeling. I found one that I REALLY liked but is really liking it enough? My other question is, am I crazy for considering a 2 piece as my wedding dress? Even though I really liked it, I almost feel as though if people find out it's a 2 piece they are going to think I am nuts. Why, I don't know and I know I shouldn't care. Are there any drawbacks to a 2 piece? Has anyone seen any 2 pieces at bridal shops... so I can go check some others out?

Thanks for all your help.

Re: Wedding dress question: Am I crazy for considering a 2 piece?

I tried on a bunch of two pieces when I was dress shopping (in MA though). In the end I didn't buy one, but I found them to be very comfortable and flattering! If it is well made, no one will probably even know its a 2-piece!

Maggie Satero has tons of 2 piece dresses and I think they're beautiful...

go for it if it's what you love!

Re: Wedding dress question: Am I crazy for considering a 2 piece?

I have a 2 piece dress from St Patricks, that has made my final cut list of dresses.
I totally understand you when you say you didnt have the 'its the one feeling' I have narrowed my search done to 3 dresses, and I love them all and they are all totally different.

but the 2 piece - I didnt even know it was a 2 piece until I tryed it on, so i doubt anyone else would know and who cares, if you like it thats all that matters, and of course you look good in it and feel comfortable.

good luck
kimberly

If you had that 'this is the one' feeling, then that is the dress, no matter how many pieces it has!

I never got that feeling - only with my FH - a dress is a dress is a dress - that's me anyway! Just make sure you LIKE it - really really like it!
