I am taking a half day from work next Monday and I want to find my dress, I've been to Burton's, Alexandria's, Wedding Center in Commack. I really don't want to spend over $1,000. I really like this dress it's Cosmobella under the Demetrios brand and I want something similiar...
(I like it without the jacket)
Any suggestions of stores on Long Island?? I've tried so many on that I like but not love and they were all $1200-$1400....
I have a lot of problems finding dresses since I'm small busted that they make me look silly and flat chested..My other problem is that I don't like any embellishments, beading or lace..

Village Bridal and Boutique, they are a vendor on here. I was there last night for my first dress from Village Bridal and Boutique in Babylon Village. They were great. I worked with Kristen ( I think that was her name). I told her my budget, that I wanted to spend 1,000 but will go up to 1500. She did not give me anything over. They had a lot of dresses. I even tried on a dress that was $800!!! Being a LIW member you get a discount too when you use vendors from here.

Don't be fooled by the website... It kind of put me off at first but the actual shop is a lot nicer. It's a no frills kind of place, and you will probably need to bring a friend or relative with you to help you get in and out of the dresses, but the prices can't be beat.
Also, they have an AMAZING seamstress.

I'm so glad I am not the only one that loves this place. I couldn't believe the prices of the dresses. Everyone has been helpful everytime I went.

if you are willing to travel into the city.. i definatly say try RK bridal!! They have a ton of dresses and will definatly have some in your price range!!

My friend got her dress (very similar to the one you posted) at The Bridal Suite in Bayshore for around $600. My dress was $900 and from Lillettes. You should check both of them out.

I got my dress at Davids Bridal. I LOOOOVE my dress. I find that it is just as gorgeous as my sisters dress that she bought at the bridal center in centereach. I think you should give Davids a shot. Lots of girls do not even look and there are so really nice dresses there. Mine was originally 900 but I got it on sale for 600.

I agree! Village bridal has a lot of dresses under 1000. I got my dress there it came to 840. They are super nice there and willing to work withing your budget!

Thank you everyone for all of the advice!! I was between Macy's and Bridal World and I ended up getting a sample dress at Bridal World for an amazing price! I really wanted the Demetrios one at Macy's but it meant a lot to me that I was saving hundreds of dollars by getting a sample! and now I have the ability to make it my own!

There should be some Maggie Sotteros in that range but not sure of stores on LI. I think Maggies also come in petite. I know DB has pretty lace dresses in your range and they make petite sizes for sure if your worried about sizing.
