Wedding Dresses - Where to Begin???

I'm hoping to start the wedding dress search within the next few weeks. I think I have a style I like in mind, but since I haven't tried on anything yet it's hard to say. I know some bridal stores are more patient/willing to let you try on more gowns than others. Any recommendations on a bridal salon that will be patient with me?

Wedding Dresses - Where to Begin???

I went to bridal reflections and klienfelds with the same thing.... I tried on so many styles and both were wonderfully patient. I ended up getting the dress at klienfelds

bridal reflections in massapequa was the first and only store i went to.. they were great! highly recommended.

Bridal elegance let me try on as many as I wanted I was there for well over an hour and probably put on at least 20.

charisol bridal - bayside! it seems like its one bride at a time, ive never seen someone else looking for dresses while another is trying on (fittings yes... but not appts)

I'm on a bit of a budget with my dress though - did you see anything there within the 300 - 400 range, or are their dresses all on the pricey side? Thanks!

If you're on a tight budget, I would try David's Bridal. You can DEFINITELY find a dress in that price range. They'll be less ornate, but you can always dress it up with a sash or something. :)

The Wedding Salon in Manhasset was great. I tried on 100 dresses and the woman who helped me was soooo patient. I probably could have tried on more, but I was exhausted!
