Wedding Factories

How do you feel about venues with multiple events going on at once???

Are they actually private like the places SAY or should I expect to be seeing guests of other weddings???

I am bombarding this forum with questions but I have sooooooooo many questions!

Re: Wedding Factories

One of my sister's had a wedding at a hall with two other weddings at the same time. All three wedding parties were taking pictures at the same time. I was looking around and I was very annoyed. My sister didn't seem to mind it. When its your wedding day, a bride doesn't want to feel she has to share it with another bride. Thats my opinion.

Unless the place is too small to handle more than one wedding at a time, I really don't mind (unless of course I see another bride on my wedding day, and she is marrying MY FH! But as long as she's marrying someone else, I'm okay with it!)

HA I agree! I don't have a problem seeing another bride- as for party confusions and noise, those I understand! We get happy on here to see those sharing our dates-eh, to each their own!

I attended a wedding at Leonards and only saw other guests going to the elevator for their party upstairs- the CH and reception were in the same room for the wedding so there weren't any other issues- and the room had it's own bathroom.

The Fox Hollow shares bathrooms but not bridal suites- they do give tours when a wedding is going on- I felt weird being in the suite when the BP started to walk in! The BM took us out as soon as the BP came in but I understood their weird looks at us. I attended a wedding there that was dry with no dancing and low music- we didn't hear the other parties in the other rooms and they were LOUD! It depends on the hall! Milleridge is a great option- for you- it also depends on what time of year you are looking at...

Good luck!

Any other wedding factory experiences at Crest Hollow and Leonards???

I visited CH and the guy promised there was no overlap but for some reason, I don't believe him. The rooms are all on the same floor.

Can you hear music from different parties? The rooms seem awfully close together.

Is Leonard's more private?

I'm concerned because Leonard's has like 4 events a night. They promise that your function will be private. I can't help but be skeptical.

I have never been to Leonard's (to visit nor for an event) but based on the reviews on this site they do not always handle multiple functions well

We went to Crest Hollow (for a band showcase) and there was a black tie event that night (not a wedding) in another part of the hall. It was handled well but I do not know how they handle multiple weddings.

Re: Wedding Factories

I specifically booked at a place that is one wedding at a time. I feel that things could be crazy, hectic and it should be nice that your wedding and guests are the only ones at the venue being fully catered to. You are spending enough money.

I hate to say this, but I went to a wedding at crest hollow & thought it was too confusing. the halls are all near each other and most the guests were confused as to which one was our CH and reception room. I just didn't like the feel of it. this was b4 i got engaged, but I remember thinking that I would not like to get married here. it just seemed a bit chaotic.

sorry if that offends anyone. CH is great in other aspects.

There was a wedding going on the same time as ours, you would never even have known.... they had upstairs and we were down. It started a little before ours so it was staggered. I saw the other bride once since I arrived early and was hanging out in the bridal suite. I didn't mind at all. I think it does depend on the place, but most are good about it!

Re: Wedding Factories

I would have loved to be the only wedding but (1) it is more expensive and I had a price point in mind and (2) I feel in love with Westbury Manor and just couldn't care less about multiple weddings after I saw the place. I get that 'feeling' everytime I go there and that's all the matters to me.
