Wedding favor suggestions???

We are doing $1 scratch off lotto tickets for each guest. We are putting them in a glassine (sp?) envelope with a shiny penny and a sticker on the envelope that say 'Wishing you riches from the new Mr. & Mrs.!'

Wedding favor suggestions???

I love the idea of a scratch off. Either that or something edible. I'm not a fan of an X-mass ornament because not all the guests will celebrate X-mas and end up throwing them away.Its a shame to spend money on something like that that people wont even use. And think back to all the weddings you went to and all the favors you got. How many did you throw away? I either didnt take it home or threw it away.

And this wont be the same for you, obviously. But the best favors I have ever gotten were edible.

Wedding favor suggestions???

A wedding favor that my family kept and used was a cheese dish/tray with a cheese cutting knife... not sure the expense though... and of course we all devoured the edible stuff, but you want something to sit in their house to remind them of your wedding, then that's not the gift.

My future brother-in-law also collected famous family recipes from both sides of each family and created a cookbook for every guest. It was really cheap and REALLY awesome! HTH!
