ZERO.. we decided not to do it. We have other priorities that are more important to us. I got a ring. It's plenty enough for me.

oh man I gotta get him a gift too??? Sheeeesh I thought I was the gift??? Isn't my paying for the wedding and letting him spend the rest of his life with me enough????

I spent a lot but he deserved it...I got him a signed photo of rudy g. and joe torre from the first game thing after 9/11. it's hanging in my living room (joy!)

ETA: He said that he was upset that he didn't know I was doing that, because he would have gotten me something. Boys are silly cause he forgot that he had bought me a TENNIS BRACELET for my gift (and had given it to me early).... So, I'd try to clue him in, if possible.

Us too!!! We aren't exchanging gifts at all this year (usually we just do b-day and go away for Christmas). We just bought a timeshare and they gave us bonus weeks this year so we're taking an extra vacation since it helped us save so much on the honeymoon.

I got FH a Raymond Weil watch and I'm giving it to him on our one year mark...I know I'm a hopeless romantic lol It was a lil pricey but it's well worth it

Most likely around $500 on watch but he doesn't know about it. I got a amazing rock on my finger and I don't want anything more than to be his wife!

same here....we splurged on the rings and the honeymoon....the rings we will wear everyday for the rest of our lives, and the honeymoon will be a great way for us to wind down and begin our lives together. The biggest gift I'm getting is to wake up next to him for the rest of my life, and I don't want anything else.

I bought him a gift in New Zealand before he asked me to marry him (heck, this girl KNOWS how to dream

). I can't remember what I spent, but since I wasn't actually saving for the wedding at the time I bought it, it really doesn't matter.

We weren't going to get each other gifts but while on our HM in St. Lucia we were in a jewelry shop and he was eyeing this watch..he always wanted this watch and it was his b-day too..

well, we bought it..you only live once right?

It was a Rolex.

what was I thinking? I got zip!
