Wedding gifts

Can you open gifts as you receive them or is it bad luck? FH wants me to investigate since we got our first gifts today and I really want to open them!! TIA

I say open them,. I really don't think that opening the gifts is bad luck.

sorry it took so long to post our gifts but we got a lovely bamboo blanket and my favorite registry item...a wine chiller!!! Unfortunately, the wine chiller we recieved is defective so I have to return it to Williams-Sonoma but I was so excited someone purchased it for us!

yeah!! that's awesome!! we are wine drinkers too!!

usually the thought is with gifts that come before the wedding etiquette is that you send out thank you's right away and not wait till after the wedding.
