I was looking around on the boards and i saw a post of a timeline from the 07 boards. They have wedding insurance as something to get done.. What is wedding insurance and is it really necessary to get? Thanks!

Re: Wedding Insurance

Wedding insurance is not necessary. It can be purchased up to 15 days before the event. I considered getting it because I had a winter wedding and worried about the weather but since you are having an April wedding, I think you're pretty safe.

If you would like more information, check out wedsafe.com.

Re: Wedding Insurance

We bought it, but only because of the weather. The blizzard hit the day after our wedding so I am glad we had it just in case. But if we were getting married in the spring summer or fall, we would not have bought it. We purchased it through wedsafe-it was cheap for all the coverage it gave.

Re: Wedding Insurance

We used wedsafe as well. We purchased it because our wedding was in February. We figured that we had spent so much money already, it was better to be safe than sorry!
