Anyone purchase wedding insurance? Why would it be necessary?
About how much does it cost?
Did anyone end up needing it?

ITA it was never mentioned at all.

I checked out some old posts and got some info.
I'm curious now as to whether or not ANYONE has ever had to use it.

EXACTLY!

and, wedding insurance DOES NOT COVER WEATHER OR OTHER NATURAL DISASTERS, which really would be the only thing that could destroy your whoel day anyway.

Almost purchased it. Didn't last minute. It did cover a Major accident or death but like only Immediate family or bride and groom.
It also protects you from losing money on vendors not showing or the place closing down - if they call bankruptcy. However it is not replaced so whatever you still out the venue and or vendors for that day you will only have some money to get back after the fact.

I don't think it did cover weather. There might have been a policy for it but it was SUPER expensive to buy. Not worth it.
