I'm sorry to hear that. Best of luck.

Thanks!

But I'm really ok about it though. I know it's the right decision; recent events have convinced me that it would have been a huge mistake.

Thanks for all the kind words. I'm really ok about it. Just hoping I'll be able to recoup some of my deposits.

Best of luck and good wishes to you all!

So sorry to hear about the news, however, I'm glad that you knew that it wasn't meant to be, and cancelled it. Many brides just get sucked in, and go threw with all the expense, only to divorce less than a year later.
That being said, if you don't get all of your deposits back, just wanted you to look at the brighter side... at least you wouldn't have spent all that money down the line.

Good luck, and on getting through this.

Re: Wedding is off ... for real this time. Anyone want to assume contracts?

Everyone is right! Let us know if there is anything we can do for you. God knows I've vented plenty on this site. I wish you the best. I was married once before a very long time ago and wish I had the courage you have because I married him after everything was paid for(by me)and the night before catching him with someone else. I also made the mistake of marrying him in city hall first because our families thought it was the right thing to do since we had a baby! Following my heart would've been a better decision, so just know that if you believe you did the right thing chances are you did and we are all here for ya!
